AFRICA PRINCESS offers the means of safe and convenient access in one week to a representative sample of the enormous diversity of the Bijagós. Enjoy a new beach every morning, navigate the interior of the mangrove, visit several traditional tabancas, fish in different places every day and explore multiple scenarios of the archipelago's biodiversity. From the first moment, the tides replace the clock, since every day the whole program synchronizes and depends on them. This is why is a strong personal "reset".

  • Boarding for AFRICA PRINCESS at the Port of Bissau, Navigation between the islands of Galinhas and Bolama

  • Ilhéus dos Pigs (Maju-Anchorupe and Maju-Inorei)

  • Baths and beach walk - According to the tides

  • Dinner on board

DAY 2: VISIT TO INOREI and MENEQUE

  • Visit to the fishermen village - according to the tides

  • Tour to visit the villages of Inorei and Angodjiga

  • Meeting with the Regulus (the Oronhó) or the Queen (the Okinka) - Introduction to the cultural values, agriculture and food structure of the Bijagó people

  • Navigation near the coast to discover Bine Cove

  • Understanding Bijagós vegetation: - mangrove and sediment, savanna, palm forest

  • Picnic under the palm trees next to the beach - according to the tides

  • Baths and beach walk

  • Orangosinho Island - ORANGO NATIONAL PARK

  • Canecapane river mouth

DAY 4: ORANGO NATIONAL PARK

  • Island of Orangosinho

  • Ponta Canapá - Observation of little monkeys when they come to fish at low tide

  • Lunch on board

  • Baths and beach walk

  • Visit to the village of Uite

  • In-depth navigation between mangroves

  • Traditional methods of fishing in the mangrove with the tide

  • Walk around the island by the wet sand at low tide

The price shown is per person, for a minimum group of 6 people.

The price of the circuit does not include: Air flights, expenses of scale, visas, tourist and entrance fees in national parks, drinks when sleeping is not in tents, restaurant in Bissau; Insurance, loss of luggage, health expenses, repatriation.

The price includes: Reception at the Airport by our ground officer. Transfers to/from the airport.

Special conditions for Bijagós Cruise: It does not require minimum number of people. Prices do not include rental of fishing gear and fishing gear that has been lost or spoiled, beverages, except wine and mineral water and snacks served during meals. Drinks and appetizers outside of the meals. The price includes all meals with the drinks that are proposed on board The tours to visit traditional tabancas and observe the nature, walks and baths of sea every day.
